A Personal Letter From Pooch:
" In Honor of National Be Kind to Animals Week, I Want To Give YOU The Gift..."
Hi! My name is Pooch, the official office puppy here at OnlyLink. I know we've never met before, even though I'm the REAL brains in this organization (my master Harish Sundaram likes to keep that little factoid confidential...something about being upstaged by someone who slobbers makes him feel inadequate).
At any rate, I just couldn't stay in the background anymore since May 1 to 7th is the national "Be Kind To Animals Week," now I thought it was about time for me to make an 'executive decision' to not only come out and introduce myself to you, but also to give you a FREE 27-Point Problem Prevention Network Tune Up on Harish Sundaram's dime (yeah, I'm really generous with HIS money).
All kidding aside, this FREE Network Tune Up is nothing to scratch at! I'll send one of our tail-wagging techs out to your office to do a thorough sniff of your network to look for viruses, spyware, security loopholes, hardware problems, system errors, and backup issues that could cause a lot of expensive problems for you. Usually Harish Sundaram charges a pretty penny to do this, but I wanted to do something special for our national holiday and, in return, hold my very own "be kind to customers" special.
But you have to do me a favor and respond fast before Harish Sundaram finds out – he doesn't know that I've finally figured out how to use the word processor and printer, and once he discovers this he'll probably tell me "Bad Pooch!" and then want to start charging for this Tune Up.
Personally, I think giving this away is a great, risk-free way of introducing us to NEW prospective clients like you. But what the heck do I know...I'm just a dog.
I DO Know It'd Be a Shame for You to Miss Out On This.... The Peace of Mind, Lowered Stress Levels, Elimination of Problems, and One Less Thing To Worry About, All Free.
Are you aware that most computer disasters could have easily been avoided with a little preventative maintenance? Wouldn't you rather know where you are vulnerable and fix those areas before they turn into expensive problems and unexpected down time? Or before a nasty hacker or virus gets in and causes all kinds of damage? Of course you would! That's why you'd be a bonehead not to take me up on such a dog-gone good offer – and believe me, I know a bone when I see one!
Plus, I know that Harish Sundaram really knows his stuff. I hang out in the office, and I hear what customers have to say. All of them comment on how responsive and reliable he is.
Bob Zeffert, Owner of Compliance Solutions says he can always count on Harish Sundaram to respond right away, and that his prices are very affordable for a small business owner like him. Gail Brown, the President at Urban Planning and Development Corporation said that Harish Sundaram takes the time to explain what he's doing in plain English and never makes her feel dumb for asking. And Sgt.Mark Foley, Village of Glen Carbon has been using OnlyLink for over 14 years, and they love the fact that Harish Sundaram knows how to make their darn computers behave the way they are supposed to (now if he can just get ME to behave the way I'm supposed to, wink-wink...)
But you have to hurry! Harish Sundaram is going to be barking mad when he finds out what I've done. That's why you should call and schedule your free audit right now: 314–641–3000.
Thanks,

4 Doggone Good Reasons To Outsource Your Computer Support To OnlyLink:
1. All support calls you make to us will be answered LIVE by a friendly, helpful technician or promptly returned within 15 minutes or less. You know the drill...it's the middle of a busy workday when - BAM - your system goes down, your e-mail stops working or you encounter some other computer problem. The last thing you want is to have to chase down your IT guy...yet that is exactly how most other IT firms operate. When you call them for help, you end up talking to their voice mail. Then when you finally get them on the phone, they make you wait hours – even days – before they actually come out to see you. Even then, a lot of them take longer than they estimated, charge you more than you expected and, as a final insult, they don't follow up with you to ensure you were satisfied! You'll NEVER have to settle for sub-standard service like this with us!
2. We'll fix your problems FAST and ACCURATELY the first time. Here's another frustration we hear about other so-called "IT experts;" they never seem to fix the problem right the first time. You shouldn't have to pay over and over again to fix the same issue, nor should you be frustrated by repetitive issues that constantly crop up. We'll own the problem and make absolutely certain we get it resolved quickly.
3. We'll NEVER talk down to you, make you feel stupid or confuse you with "Geek Speak." You deserve to get answers to your questions in PLAIN ENGLISH. Our technicians will not talk down to you or make you feel stupid because you don't understand their techno-babble. Instead, we'll take the time to explain what's going on and provide helpful answers to ANY questions you have. Plus, our help desk is located right here in St.Louis, MO.
4. We stand behind all of our work with a "Thrilled Today Or You Don't Pay Guarantee." If you are ever dissatisfied with a service we provide – for ANY reason - call and let us know. We will work with you to correct or repeat the service at no additional charge. If this still does not resolve the issue, we will refund 100% of the money you've paid us. All we ask is that you notify us within 72 hours of the unsatisfactory service and before another service begins. You'll notice we don't hide behind small print, legalese, or other weasel clauses in our guarantee. We are completely confident in our ability to fix whatever problems you have and make you thrilled that you called.
Don't Take Our Word For It! Just Listen To What Our Customers Have To Say...
"On the first day of our scheduled audit we were experiencing a total network outage. Our onsite technician was not able to resolve the issues. OnlyLink came in and saved the day. Needless to say, we acquired OnlyLink as our IT services provider, and now we don't have to depend on an individual, we have an entire company with a plethora of skill sets... We strongly recommend OnlyLink as your IT Service Provider."
- - Christopher Elliott, Principal, Compliance Solutions an affiliate of Zeffert & Associates, Inc., St. Louis, MO
"We love OnlyLink's response time, their willingness to address any technology issues that are raised and come back with solutions in a reasonable period of time....They understand that loss of technology leads to loss of productivity which negatively impacts operations and the bottom line. This was demonstrated early in our business relationship when our server crashed. Harish and his team completed an emergency network upgrade overnight into the next day until the job was done in order to have us back in business. OnlyLink constantly looks for ways to improve their service."
- - Gail Brown, President, Urban Planning and Development Corporation, St. Louis, MO
How Does Your Current Computer Guy Stack Up? Here Are 5 Things You Should Demand From Your IT
1. Demand multiple technicians on staff. If you rely on a "one-man-band" operation, you might find yourself without any help when they go on vacation, get sick, or when they are simply too busy servicing other customers. Having multiple technicians on staff is not a guarantee of fast, reliable service, but you are far more likely to have someone to talk to when you have a problem. Another reason you want a shop that has multiple technicians is because no one computer guy – no matter how good – has infinite knowledge about every type of software, hardware, and platform. Multiple technicians mean multiple skill sets and a higher likelihood that your computer problem will get resolved faster.
2. Demand someone who has a long-standing reputation. Let's face it; there are a lot of other computer repair technicians out there, but most are new or just getting started because they were recently laid off. You want to make sure you avoid hiring a fly-by-night technician between jobs that sets up shop one day, and is out of business within a month or a year. Only deal with computer technicians and repair shops that have a proven track record in your area. OnlyLink has been servicing customers in the St.Louis Downtown area for over 14 years now.
3. Demand that they have specific knowledge or expertise on solving your particular problem. Do NOT let someone practice on your machine. If they have not worked on your problem before, they should TELL you that in advance. There is too much risk involved financially and in your data and equipment.
4. Demand that your technician backs up your system BEFORE working on it. This is just common sense. Don't let them touch your machine before your entire system is securely backed up, just in case something goes wrong. You should also demand they sign a confidentiality agreement before doing anything.
5. Demand that your machine comes back with the same settings, look, preferences, and applications that you had on it prior to the work. There are a lot of second-rate shops with inexperienced technicians who will end up causing you more problems than you bargained for. Very frequently, these inexperienced technicians will recommend that you wipe out your hard drive and re-install Windows to fix a problem before performing ANY diagnostics! This means you lose all of your settings and preferences, as well as losing all of the software programs you have installed. This should ONLY be done as a last resort. WARNING: In addition to wiping out your hard drive, some of these shops will put illegal software on your machine using a stolen license. Not only is this illegal and puts you in a position to get fined, but most illegal software (especially Microsoft) is locked, which means you cannot download and update critical security patches. This leaves you unable to update your machine and protect it from deadly viruses, worms, and hackers.
